Adjunct Instructor in General Psychology and Lifespan Development

George Fox University Department Psychology seeks part time adjunct faculty in General Psychology and Lifespan Human Development

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching within the undergraduate Psychology Department.  We seek teaching availability for one or more of the following courses: 
    • Fall 2019 (August 26-December 13)
      • General Psychology M/W/F at 8:00am and 12:00pm and Tu/Th at 2:50pm
      • Lifespan Development Tu/Th at 9:25am
    • Spring 2020
      • General Psychology M/W/F at 8:00am and Tu/Th at 8:00am.

Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree (MA) in Psychology is required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
  • A commitment to working with a diverse population of students (including students of color, first-generation college students, international students, etc.) is essential, demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
  • All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a local church. In addition, professors agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
  • Candidates must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
