Adjunct Instructor of Economics

George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct instructor position in Economics, teaching Econometrics. This is for the Spring 22 semester. Course can be taught online or face-2-face on the Newberg campus, MWF from 11:00-11:50am. Times can be changed according to instructor schedule if needed.

ECON 410 Econometrics 3 hours. This course deals with the application of statistical techniques to the analysis of economic data. Economists, financial analysts and others rely on econometric methods to estimate relationships and forecast employment, income and other trends. This course emphasizes hands-on application of econometric techniques to a variety of publicly available data. Considerable attention will be paid to the nature and sources of economic data and the application of econometric methods to common questions of value to managers and public decision-makers. Prerequisite: A grade of B- or higher in BUSN 301 Business Analytics: Intro to Business Intelligence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics or a related field required.
• Teaching experience at the college level required.
• A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
• All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a local church. In addition, professors agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statementand affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
• Candidates must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
