Assistant or Associate Professor of Educational Leadership
George Fox University announces a tenure-track faculty position in the Doctor of Educational Leadership program, to begin in July 2019. The program seeks a research methodologist with expertise in qualitative research methodology. This faculty position includes teaching, mentoring dissertation students and working collaboratively with the EdD team. A passion for teaching, both online and face-to-face is desired, as well as the ability to sustain a research agenda. Experience in either K-12 education or higher education is desired.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach doctoral level coursework in research methodology at the foundational and advanced levels, other coursework associated with area of experience/expertise;
- Maintain evidence of an active research and publishing scholarship agenda;
- Advise and mentor doctoral candidates
- Chair doctoral dissertation committees;
- Contribute to program development, ongoing assessment and program improvement;
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Earned doctorate (EdD./Ph.D.) in educational leadership or a related field, from an accredited university;
- Demonstrated ability or potential for an active program of scholarly research;
- Demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in graduate online teaching, and assessment;
- Expertise in qualitative research design/methodology
- Commitment to collaborative partnerships with Prek-12 communities;
- Commitment to collaborate with colleagues on EdD programmatic work;
- Teaching experience in K-12 or higher education experience is desirable;
Salary and Rank
Appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level is anticipated. Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.
